Our intervention step by step

  • We analyze the problems that cause concrete slabs or floors to collapse: Is the soil compacted? Has water caused soil erosion?

  • Using special equipment and scanners, we then determine the areas to be treated and locate the electrical wires and pipes underneath the slabs to preserve them.

  • We mark the places where we will drill small holes to insert the tips that will be used to inject the polyurethane (a kind of polymer).

  • We inject polymer to raise, level and stabilize slabs or sections of the concrete floor that have a problem.

  • We make corrections where voids have been created as a result of lifting. The result is a floor with a tenfold load-bearing capacity!

  • Afterwards, we remove the bits inserted in the concrete and fill the holes with cement.

A complete report on the work performed

After the repair work is completed, we will provide you with a detailed report outlining the problems encountered and the repairs carried out. This report includes a plan of your infrastructure on which are clearly indicated their different zones or parts as well as the interventions from which each of them benefited. You will also find all the products we used during the work as well as comments and observations from our experts.

A light and ultra-powerful polyurethane foam

Developed in Quebec in collaboration with Genyk, our exclusive polyurethane was designed
to resist the temperature variations of our province and to give optimal results on the different types
of floors found there. Water repellent and completely waterproof, our polyurethane will maintain its
original condition over time.

Although it is very light, our polymer can support extremely heavy loads, which makes it an
ideal solution for various uses:

CONCRETE ADVANTAGES

Discover the numerous advantages of geofixation to re-enhance all the concrete work that needs to be raised or levelled.

Unparalleled speed

EVERYTHING IS COMPLETED (AND READY) THE SAME DAY!

Learn more

Small and medium-sized residential projects can be completed in a few hours; larger industrial and commercial projects can take a few days. This is by far the fastest method of all to correct unevenness and instability in concrete. Immediately after our intervention, the surfaces are ready for normal use.

COST-EFFICIENT

SAVE TIME AND MONEY!

Learn more

Our innovative solution of calibrated injection of high-strength polymer formulations typically costs 50% less than the traditional method involving demolition and reconstruction.

Also, our quick intervention minimizes any interruption of your operations and therefore any negative impact on your productivity.

Guaranteed lasting results

A 5 YEAR WARRANTY ON OUR PRODUCTS AND OUR APPLICATION!

Learn more

As a general rule, the life span of our polymer corresponds to that of your concrete slabs or floors. We also offer a 5-year warranty on the work done and on the products used.

Non-invasive and aesthetic

A DURABLE CONCRETE SOLUTION!

Learn more

The technique we use does not require heavy machinery that can damage landscaping and other surfaces. It also allows us to preserve the original slabs and floors. Thus, the aesthetics are not affected by the presence of new and old parts that look different.

ECO-FRIENDLY

NO COMPROMISE WHEN IT COMES TO THE HEALTH OF THE PLANET!

Since the polymer is insoluble, no chemicals are released into the surrounding water and soil. Moreover, its application does not generate any construction debris.

What makes GeoFix so unique?

GeoFix distinguishes itself from other companies specialized in concrete lifting by its exclusive polyurethane, adapted to the Quebec climate. It was developed after years of research and development in collaboration with Genyk.

In addition, we have the expertise and equipment to perform work in sensitive areas, such as hospitals, laboratories and schools, where strict hygiene levels and dust containment are essential.

Why does concrete collapse?

Over time, freezing and thawing and changes in humidity levels can cause the soil underneath concrete slabs or floors to become compacted, creating voids in some areas. This causes the concrete to crack and/or settle as it is no longer supported evenly by the soil.

Such voids can also be caused by water underneath concrete surfaces, which digs into the ground as it passes, or by animals making burrows.

How do you prevent concrete slump?

If you have concrete slabs in your yard (e.g., a sidewalk around the pool), be sure to water your yard properly during droughts. You will limit the risk of the soil compacting as it loses its moisture. The same goes for trees: water them properly so that their roots don’t need to go under your slabs to drink. By drawing water from there, the roots would dry out the soil under the slabs.

Also, make sure your lot is sloped so that water flows toward the street and not your home.

CHOOSE PEACE OF MIND!

Our innovative geofixing solution will allow you to enhance your installations for the entire life of your slabs, floors or any other concrete infrastructure.
